Angel Low Zi Xin is the founder and director of Simple Music, where she serves as a distinguished music educator, specializing in piano instruction and Joy MusicArt education. She is also the founder of Tiny Tunes.
Hailing from WP Kuala Lumpur, Angel's musical journey began at the age of 6. She achieved her Diploma in Music from the Malaysian Institute of Art (MIA) in 2020, with ABRSM Grade 8 qualifications in Piano and Music Theory. She furthered her studies at Akademi Seni Kebudayaan dan Warisan Kebangsaan (ASWARA), obtaining a Bachelor of Music with Honors (Performing) in 2024.
Angel’s professional experience includes notable performances with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra for “Symphony for Our World” in 2018. She has participated in a range of prestigious international competitions, securing a silver award at the Asia Pacific Arts Festival in Kuala Lumpur, a gold award in Singapore, and a gold award in Siem Reap, Cambodia. She also achieved runner-up status at the 2nd International Classical and Traditional Music Competition in Taiwan.
Under her guidance, students have excelled in various piano competitions and music examinations, earning accolades at the International Classical and Traditional Music Competition in Taiwan, YEFF Penang & Vietnam, and the EUROASIA Malaysian Piano Competition.
Angel is recognized for her exceptional patience and innovative approach to teaching, consistently fostering artistic excellence and inspiring her students through a passionate commitment to music education.
